Course Description: This course will be conducted with a multi-objective approach. It will address the philosophical/pedagogical dynamics of online learning, how to conduct an online course as well as the skills and tools necessary to write your own course.

The course begins by establishing a rationale for online learning and how it fits into the educational setting. As the course progresses, participants will explore the use of Canvas as a participant in the course as well as an instructor. An emphasis will be placed on the practices that create a positive and successful online presence as an instructor and student, most specifically as it relates to the Pen Argyl Area Cyber Academy.
